FF7 Remake Corneo's Secret Stash Locations And Rewards
Unlocking Don Corneo's hidden treasure vaults in Final Fantasy VII Remake offers players a great way to accumulate valuable items and gear up for late-game challenges. This optional quest in Chapter 14 requires tracking down a stolen key before visiting three distinct vaults hidden across Midgar. Complete guidance on finding these locations helps ensure no valuable loot is left behind.
Starting the Quest and Obtaining Corneo's Key
To initiate the hunt, players must speak with Damon the reporter in the Sector 5 Slums during Chapter 14. Progressing the quest leads to an encounter with Kyrie at the church, which links directly into the Tomboy Bandit questline. Successfully resolving her request rewards players with Corneo's Vault Key.
Steel Mountain and Collapsed Expressway Vaults
The first vault is located in Steel Mountain, situated northeast of Sector 5's main district near the Chocobo Stop. Inside this chamber, players will discover a Ruby Tiara along with helpful consumables, gil, and a Prayer Materia. The second stash rests near the entrance of the Collapsed Expressway, hiding a Diamond Tiara behind its locked gate.
Draining the Sewers for the Final Stash
Accessing the third vault requires advancing Chapter 14's main scenario into the sewer system alongside Leslie. After completing the chase sequence, players must activate a water drainage lever rather than ascending the ladder. Returning to the drained area triggers a battle against the Sahagin Prince, yielding the Emerald Tiara upon victory.
Quest Completion Rewards and Skill Upgrades
After raiding all three stashes, returning the recovered tiaras to Marle in Evergreen Park finishes the quest. Players are rewarded with The Art of Swordplay Vol. III, which provides Cloud with 10 valuable Skill Points for weapon upgrades. You can also check out to explore other guides and gaming tips.
